Mel had a brilliant idea of bringing her own wine so we did not have to overpay for our drinks. I had a mini freak-out moment when I saw people walking with snakes around their neck. If the even coordinators no longer allow dogs at a "family friendly" even why the frak are people allowed to bring snakes. I have live here for 10 years and have successfully avoided rattle snake encounters. So, thank you crazy weirdos for ruining my perfect streak. I still do not see an appeal of keeping reptiles as pets, but I also don't understand it when someone says they are not dog people (seriously, have they ever seen a puppy, they are so cute and fluffy).

Music on Main
This week has been hectic and crazy. Between our 4th of July celebrations in Whitefish and a long drive home (what idiot decides that the best day to start road work is on July 5th) I have been trying to catch up with everything. Our house looks as if a tornado swept through it: cloths everywhere, unfinished paintings stinking up the room and a ton of laundry. Feeling overwhelmed, I decided to escape the chores and spend some time drinking wine and hanging out with some friends downtown. I don't even know what band was playing, we heard several songs, but I highly doubt music is the main reason behind the attendance.
